Third Annual General Meeting featuring Professor Michael Baker

Trust Democracy’s third AGM will feature Professor Michael Baker and will be held on 9 May 2023, 7.30-9.00pm by Zoom.

Trust Democracy is pleased to announce that its 2023 AGM will feature an address by Professor Michael Baker about disinformation, science, trust, democracy, and the newly established Public Health Communication Centre. Our 2020 workshops on the state of democracy showed that dis- and mis-information were significant concerns then and awareness of these issues has intensified since.

The AGM will be held on 9 May 2023, 7.30-9.00pm by Zoom videoconference. Click here to register and receive the Zoom details.

Our AGM is for Trust Democracy members but we welcome non-members too.

Guests are welcome to stay for the whole meeting, which will include a discussion about issues Trust Democracy might focus on in the coming years. Alternatively, it will be fine to leave after Professor Baker’s address, which will be the first item on the agenda and will include an opportunity to ask questions.

Agenda

  • Presentation: Prof Michael Baker on trust, disinformation, science and democracy
  • Minutes of the previous AGM
