Notice of 2026 AGM featuring Ganesh Ahirao

Trust Democracy is pleased to announce that its 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 7 July via Zoom.

The first agenda item will be an address by our guest speaker, Ganesh Ahirao, entitled: “The Triple Alliance: Economics, Politics, and Power”.

Whether you are a Trust Democracy member or not, you are welcome to join us. Non-members can leave at the conclusion of the first agenda item.

About Ganesh Ahirao

We are delighted that Ganesh Ahirao (known to many as Ganesh Nana) will join us. Ganesh is an economist with 45 years of experience in economic research and policy, most recently as Chair of the Productivity Commission, and brings deep insight into the interplay between economics, politics, and power.

Interest in democratic innovation

Trust Democracy aims to foster democratic innovations such as citizens assemblies. Momentum for these sorts of innovations seems to be growing with at least 5 deliberative processes held in 2025, very strong interest in Iain Walker’s recent speaking tour, and full houses for our 2 most recent public events:

If you’d like to support these sorts of innovations, there’s still time to become a Trust Democracy member before the AGM.
